Anti-friction
Compounds are chemical preparations based on polymers,
inorganic compounds and special ingredients which
have certain properties that are missing in petroleum/
ordinary lubricants and greases. These products
are designed to provide special features such as
high temperature(160oC), high load, high wear resistance
to components and machinery operating under extreme
conditions.
Antifriction Compounds are also used to impart properties
such as damping effect, corrosion protection, extreme
weather resistance, high insulation etc.
These products extend the useful life of components
and machinery and decrease the frequency of re-lubrication.
Aerol produces a wide range of such products which
help equipments such as Automobiles, Aircrafts,
Railways, Televisions, Audio systems, Toys, Cameras,
Kitchen equipment, Arms, Gym equipment, Furniture
and builders hardware, Sanitary appliances, Automatic
teller machines, Vending machines, Elevators, Escalators
etc., work better.

Aerol®
Assembly Paste |
| |
Aerol®
Assembly Paste is a low friction, metal pre
treatment assembly aid in paste form that contains
high concentration of Molybdenum disulphide
and other speciality solid lubricants. Assembly
pastes are designed to prevent damage to surfaces
while sliding against each other at high loads
and low speeds such as assembly or disassembly
of bearings, press fitting etc. The excellent
lubricating properties of Assembly paste is
due to the hexagonal structure of its constituent,
Molysulphide, which has alternate layers of
molybdenum and sulphur atoms. When an assembly
paste is applied to metal surfaces, the Molysulphide
in the paste makes layers on the metal surface
known as lamellae. These lamellae are practically
incompressible and thus are capable of withstanding
tremendous load upto 5,00,000 psi. Although
the lamellae cannot be compressed, they do not
resist shear forces (sliding friction). Infact
they provide excellent lubrication due to their
ability to slide over each other without any
resistance. Layers formed by this paste of metal
surfaces are serviceable from - 25°C to
550°C Having extremely low coefficient of
friction, It protects load bearing surfaces
during critical wear in damages, from fretting,
seizure and galling. It handles extreme pressures
and gives complete protection during critical
start up and running in period.
It provides closer fits without jamming and
lowers the force required during assembly of
close or tight fitting parts. It's special lubricating
properties provides lubrication up to the yield
point of most metals. It is an indispensable
lubricant for general maintenance, assembly
of parts, press fits, threaded connections and
spline lubrication.

Aerol®
Non Melt High Temperature Compound |
| |
Aerol®
Non Melt High Temperature Compound is a high
performance, high temperature resistant, tacky
preparation based on synthetic oil and solid
lubricants. The synthetic oil has the unique
property of cleanly volatizing at high temperatures.
At about 200°C the synthetic fluid starts
to volatize and eventually leaves behind a layer
of solid lubricant for effective lubrication.
This compound does not melt or run off at temperatures
upto 300°C. Due to its tacky nature, it
does not get thrown off or drip under conditions
of high vibration. It is highly resistant to
water wash out and will not emulsify with water.
A dry compound of Moly Powder is also available.

Applications |
| |
All
types of applications where greases melts due
to high temperature ideal for highly loaded
and slow moving parts such as conveyors for
stove enameling ovens, drying plants etc. Suitable
for bearings of all types of ovens and kilns,
small open gears that are highly loaded, operating
at high temperatures and low speed. Dry Powder
is used where oily, liquid lubricant are
unusable.
