Aerol^® Damping Compound (Kilopoise Compounds)
Aerol^® Damping Compound or Kilopoise Compounds are generally stiff, tacky, non-dying and non -evaporating, highly viscous gels that are designed to damp free motion of the component to which it is applied.

Ordinary Lubricants have the property of reducing friction between the surfaces on which it is applied, where as Damping Compound or Kilopoise Compounds create more friction and yet make motion more smooth and restricted. This smooth yet restricted or damped motion is free from play and produces a hydraulic feel.

Damping / Kilopoise Compounds are used in assemblies where a fine adjustment or slow motion is produced by hand, where free motion is required to damped, and where sealing is required, but not for moving machinery in the ordinary sense.

Application
Damping Compounds find application in the assembly of potentiometers, rotary switches, tape recorders, soft ejection assemblies, variable condenser, deflector coils, plastic gears and others electronic and automotive compounds where damping of free motion is required. It gives a smooth and easy motion to oculars, focusing and adjusting on screw and plane contracts. other applications include optical  equipment, binoculars, radio, tape recorders, television, telescopes, microscopes, camera, range finders, surveying and measuring instrument, trimmers, electronic toys, automobile fittings, hinges and builders hardware, sanitary fittings and appliances etc. e cutting, grinding punching and hammering equipment, motor assemblies.

Aerol^® Anti - Seize Compounds
Aerol^® Anti - Seize Compounds are made up of combination of solid lubricants, corrosion inhibitors, semi synthetic base fluid and metal. these compounds aid assembly and non-destructive dismantling of threaded connections such as nuts, bolts, pipes etc. even after long periods of service under extreme conditions of heat, moisture and corrosion. Applications General purposes anti seizes applications for threaded connectors of turbines, internal combustion engines, threaded valves used in oil refinery, gas and steel works. General plant maintenance of threaded connections for machine assembly, dies, moulds, hinges, manifolds bolts, spark plug threads and wheel bolt.
